What's going on at Kainos?
There are lots of things going on at Kainos. Our church vision is threefold...
The first part of this vision is ‘Intimacy with Jesus’. We are devoted to supporting and assisting in the development of each individual believer’s walk with Christ. In order to facilitate this we aim to equip each and every person that walks through our doors who has a desire to know God with what they need to journey into greater intimacy with Jesus.
Our second focus is upon ‘Relationship with each other’. We believe that Christ was and is building a community of believers, people who are all part of one body, one family. We also believe that people were not made to be alone. For these reasons we are devoted to building relationship with each other. These relationships certainly take many different forms, and will move at many different paces, but it is vital that we invest in building them so that each person to enter through our doors may find the support, encouragement, and above all the love that they need to live out each day.
Our third and final focus is that of ‘Touching the world’. Jesus Christ life was not one which remained behind closed doors. We believe that His ministry focused heavily upon bringing the kingdom of heaven to the here and now. He did this by helping those who could not help themselves, by serving those who were in need, and by loving those whom no-one would love. We are desperately passionate about seeing good prevail over evil and about impacting the communities we find ourselves within.
