First Sunday Communion

The Eucharist, which is also called Communion, is a sacrament accepted by almost all Christians. It symbolises the new covenant given by God to his followers. The old covenant was the one given by God to Israel when he freed his people from slavery in Egypt.

The new sacrament symbolises freedom from the slavery of sin and the promise of eternal life. According to the Synpotic Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, the Eucharist was instituted by Jesus, who said the following:

"Take, eat, this is My body which is broken for you, do this in remembrance of Me, also, this cup is the new Covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it in remembrance of Me"

1 Corinthians 11 (24-25)

During Communion, all Christians will eat bread and drink wine as Jesus did at the Last Supper.

We invite the entire family of Kainos; including all ages to celebrate this important meal together on the first Sunday of each month.
